FA Cup also known as Football Association Challenge Cup is a knock out football competition which is organized every year by The Football Association. FA Cup is the most prestigious and oldest competition in the world. It was founded in 1871.

This competition is open to all English football clubs under level 10 of English Football League system. Around 750 teams participate in the knock out competition every year. The competition is consisted of 12 knockout rounds, two Semifinals and a final. First 6 rounds are the qualifying rounds in which clubs from level 10 to level 5 compete with each other.

 In 2011-12 763 clubs participated in FA Cup which is a record. 736 clubs participated in 2018-19 FA Cup. Arsenal is the most successful clubs in FA Cup with 13 title wins. Second in the list is Manchester United with 12 FA Cup titles. Chelsea has won 8 titles so far.

Liverpool ex-Striker Ian Rush is the top goal scorer in the history of competition. Ex- Chelsea midfielder Ashley Cole is the only player who has won 7 FA Cup titles. Below is the list of winners of FA Cup title.
