●  Klose started his senior football career in 1998 with FC 08 Homburg which is a German football club.

●  He was selected for the German’s national team in 2001. Germany did not lose the match in which Klose scored a goal.

●  Klose is all time top scorer for Germany, he scored 71 goals in 137 matches.

●  Klose’s Father Josef was also a professional footballer and his mother was national Hand Ball team player in Poland.

●  Klose is one of the few players in the world who has won Bronze, Silver and Gold medal in the world Cup. He also the all time top goal scorer in FIFA World Cup with 16 goals.

●  Klose won the Golden Boot in the World Cup 2006 for scoring five goals. He won two Bundesliga titles for Bayern Munich in 2007-08 and 2009-10. He also won Coppa Italia with Lazio in 2012-13.

●  German star was the key performer in the winning FIFA World Cup 2014.

●  If we look at Klose’s personal awards then he won FIFA World Cup Silver Shoe in 2002, FIFA World Cup Golden Shoe in 2006, German Footballer of the year award in 2006 and Bundesliga top scorer award in 2006.

●  Klose announced his retirement from international football after the World Cup 2014 which was a good decision for him. He also got retirement from Club football in 2016.
