●  Lionel Messi started his football career back in 2003 with Barcelona. Messi gave trail for Barcelona in 2000 and he was selected for the youth academy at the age of 13 years.

●  Messi had growth deficiency at the age of 11 and doctor gave him growth hormone injections but he lucky that he was discovered by Barcelona or we can say that Barcelona was lucky to discover Messi.

●  Messi made his debut in Barcelona first team on 16th Nov 2003. He impressed the coach by his skills and at the age of 16, he was playing with world's best players like Ronaldinho, Eto and Deco.

●  Messi’s debut for Argentina was a disaster, he was substituted in 18th minute of the first half and just after one minute he was shown red card by referee for a foul but later on he proved himself worthy for the national team and displayed amazing performances for Argentina.

●  Messi has won 25 major football awards including 5 Baloon Dor, 6 Golden Shoe, 6 La Liga top scorer awards, 6 La Liga best player of the season, 2 UEFA best player of the year award and many more.

●  Messi has won 34 Club trophies including 10 La-Liga titles, 8 Spanish Super Cup titles, 6 Copa-del-Ray titles, 4 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 FIFA Club world Cup and 3 European Super Cup.
