● Michael Ballack started his professional football career in 1995 with a German football named Chemnitzer FC. He was only 19 years old when he was selected for the German National team. He is considered as one of the best midfielder in the world.● In his 17 years old football career, he spent most of his club career playing in Bundesliga clubs and played with Chelsea for four years from 2006 to 2010 which is the only non-German club he played for.
● Ballack had an amazing international career. He player 98 matches for his country and scored 42 goals. He is considered as one of the most complete midfielder in the football. His aggressive and commanding attitude on the pitch made him different than any other midfielder.
● Ballack won his first Bundesliga title in 1998 while playing for Kaiserslautern. Later on he won three more Bundesliga and three DFB-Pokal titles with Bayern Munich in 2002–03, 2004–05 and 2005–06.
● Moving to Chelsea football club was an excellent decision for Ballack. He spent four successful seasons at Chelsea. He won 2 FA Cups (2009, 2010), one Premier League (2010), one Football League Cup (2007) and one FA Community Shield (2009) with Chelsea.
● Ballack was the part of German squad in FIFA World Cup 2002 and Germany reached to the final of the world Cup where they lost the final to Brazil. Ballack also played brilliantly in UEFA European Championship in 2008.
● He was named 3 times the German Footballer of the Year in 2002, 2003 and 2005. He was awarded UEFA Midfielder of the Year award in 2002. He won the Silver Shoe award in FIFA Confederation Cup in 2005.
