UEFA European Championship is the second biggest competition of international football. It was founded by UEFA in 1958 and the first event was organized in France in 1960. 15 Euro Championships have been organized by UEFA in last 61 years and 34 countries have been participated in the Euro Championship but only 10 countries have won the Championship title.24 national teams from Europe participate in the competition. The host team qualifies automatically and 23 teams have to compete in the qualification round. Germany and Spain both won the Euro Championship two times. France is second in the list with two Championship titles. Portuguese Captain Cristiano Ronaldo and Micheal Platini from France are the top goal scorers in the European Championship matches. Both have scored 9 goals in the competition.
Ronaldo has edge of more goals in the qualifying round. Germany is the only country which played 6 Euro championship finals and Spain has played four Euro finals. Below is the list of winners of UEFA European Championship from 1960.
