●  Xavi was selected in the Barcelona youth academy in 1991 when he was only 11 years old. He started his professional career for Barcelona in 1997. Xavi is regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time.

●  Xavi played 767 matches for Barcelona club which is a record. He also has record of playing 150 European matches for Barcelona which is the highest number of matches in the European competitions ever played for Barcelona.

●  Xavi scored 85 goals in 767 matches for Barcelona and made uncountable number of assists. He won 8 La Liga titles, 3 Copa del Rey titles, 6 Spanish Super Cups, 4 UEFA Champions League, 2 UEFA Super Cups, and 2 FIFA Club World Cups with Barcelona. He made a huge contribution in the success of the Club in his 18 years career with Barcelona.

●  Xavi left Barcelona in 2015 and joined a Qatari club named Al Sadd. He has spent 4 successful seasons in the club. He played 115 matches and scored 25 goals for Al Sadd. Under his captaincy club won the Qatar Stars League in 2019 and Qatar Cup in 2017.

●  He announced his retirement from football in 2019 and he started his coaching career in Qatar and he is currently working as club manager in AL Sadd football club.

●  Xavi also had an amazing international career as well. He has 133 international caps for Spain and scored 13 goals in his career. He was the integral part of Spanish national team who won the world Cup 2010. He also won two UEFA European Championships in 2008 and 2012.

●  He won the UEFA Club Midfielder of the year award in 2009 and World Soccer player of the year award in 2010. He was awarded FIFA Club World Cup Silver Ball in 2011 and Marca Legend award in 2015.

●  He is surly a role model for the young midfield players in football.
