How Messi helped Coutinho in Barcelona vs Sevilla

Due to the absence of Messi in the Copa del Rey Quarter final first leg, Barcelona suffered  with loss from Savilla by 0 : 2 goals. But due to the return of Leo in the squad, Barcelona got back the strength in club. In the 2nd leg, Barcelona did great comeback and won the Copa del Rey quarter final with  6 : 3 aggregate.

Argentinian striker is famous for his unselfishness acts on the pitch. We have plenty of examples of him doing generous acts by letting his team-mate to score a penalty goal. We  During the match, we saw amazing selfless play from Messi. In the 13th minute, Messi was fouled in the D area by the Sevilla defender and he was awarded with Penalty, Messi gave the ball to Coutinho and asked him to score the penalty.

Coutinho was having some bad form in recent few matches. Football critics were blaming him for the defeat from Sevilla in the first leg of Copa del Rey quarter finals. Messi allowed him  score a Penalty to boost his confidence. Coutinho scored a brilliant Penalty which helped him to get back in to the game.

Messi did the same gesture with Suarez and Neymar before. Messi always favor the team mates that's why Messi is not only the highest goal scorer in  Laliga but also he has more assists in the league this season.

After scoring goal on penalty Coutinho gained the confidence and scored second goal as well. Coutinho also acknowledged the Selfless play form Messi in the post match interview.
