Argentina 2 : 0 Venezuela Copa America 2019

Quarterfinal of Copa America 2019 is on fire now and  Argentina won  the  quarterfinal match against Venezuela. It was an easy win for Argentinians and with brilliant goals by Lautaro Martinez and Lo Celso, Argentina won the quarterfinal by 2 goals to nil.

In the start of the Copa America, Argentinian fans were expecting a lot from 32 years Lionel Messi but till now he could not impress fans and scored only one goal on penalty against Paraguay. International tournaments have been full of bad lucks for Lionel Messi. He lost four finals of international tournaments including the FIFA world cup. On the other side Messi's statistical rival, Cristiano Ronaldo has won two main international trophies in last three years including UEFA Nations Cups 2019 which made things more worse for Messi and he is desperate for wining Copa America 2019.

Argentina's substituted player Lautaro Martinez has been very successful so far in the Copa Amercia matches. It's his second year with the international squad but Lautaro has proved his worth for the team in last two matches. Lautaro was benched against Colombia and he was not substituted in that match which was a mistake by Scaloni. In the second match against Paraguay, Lautaro played brilliantly and won penalty for the team in the second half of the match. Lautaro Martinez has been quit vibrant and energetic in the tournament. Lautaro has scored 6 goals in last 10 international matches which is quit significant for the team.

In the Copa America 2019, Argentina team showed coordination and team work after a long time. The game play designed by Scaloni was miserably failed against Colombia and  Paraguay. Scaloni made some changes in the lineup and strategy which proved significant for Los Albiceleste. Argentinian squad played standard football against Venezuela. Aguaro, Lautaro and Messi showed brilliant understanding and combination and together they created many chances for goal during match. It is a good sign for Argentina that goals are coming through other players instead of Messi.

Well for Argentina, the competition Copa America has been quite easy so far and one positive sign for Argentina is that the team is no more dependent on Messi's goals. Young players are scoring amazing goals and they are waiting for Messi to join them in the list.  In the Semi final of Copa America, Argentina is going to face Brazil which is the best team of the tournament. This Semi final will be a thriller to watch.
