Ten-man Manchester City took a two-goal lead as Wolves bounced back in the glorious second half to win 3–2 on a dramatic evening. Raheem Sterling scored twice even after Ederson's opening red card, but Adama Traore pulled one back and set up Raul Jimenez to equalize before Matt Doherty's late winner.

The dramatic competition was played amid an intense atmosphere, which was only amplified by a series of VAR decisions, taken at least twice - and twice saved - by Sterling. The result advances the Wolves to fifth, but it probably means City are third ahead of Leicester and remain 14 points ahead of runway leaders Liverpool.
