Argentina vs Paraguay Lionel Messi saved Argentina once again

- Lionel Messi saved a point for Argentina in Copa America group stage match

- Match Argentinian vs Paraguay ended in 1 - 1 draw

- Argentinian goal keeper Franco Armani saved a penalty against Paraguay

Copa America matches are always interesting to watch. Yesterday Paraguay had an early lead when Sanches scored a brilliant goal at 37th minute of the first half in the match between Argentina and Paraguay. Argentina worries continues in the Copa America and Messi is not able to shows an extraordinary performance with the national side. but Lionel Messi saved a point for Argentina by scoring a goal on penalty at 56th minute of the match. Argentina has already lost their first match against Colombia in group stage of Copa America and they can not afford another defeat.

During the match Lionel Messi was looking a bit under pressure because of the defeat against Colombia last week. Messi was struggling with his national side, he also missed an open header against Colombia. In the first half of the match against Paraguay, Argentinian side had few chances but they could not produce goal and during 37th minute Richard Sanchez superb strike gave Paraguay lead in the match. It was looking that Argentina will face another defeat in Copa America because of the failure of their game plan but once again Lionel Messi saved Argentina from the knockout and kept the hopes alive for Argentinian fans.

It is obvious that Scaloni's game strategy for Argentina is not working in the Copa America and even in the presence of the world class strikers like Lionel Messi, De Maria and Aguaro, Scaloni's side is struggling during matches. Right now Argentina is at the bottom of the Group B and now they only have one chance to progress in the tournament that if they beat Qatar in their last group meeting and Colombia beats or draw with Paraguay in next week match.

Well we are not forgetting the amazing penalty saved by Argentinian goal keeper Franco Armani. Paraguay had chance to get lead in the second half of the match when they were awarded penalty during 62nd minute. Gonzaziez took penalty for Paraguay and it was brilliantly saved by Franco Armani. In the end it was 1 - 1 draw between Argentina and Paraguay and both teams got 1 points that means  Argentina and Paraguay both have chances to qualify for the next round of Copa America and it now depends on the last match of the group stage on 24th June. Argentina is going to face Qatar and Paraguay will play against Colombia.
