Coutinho to join Bayern Munich on a loan deal with Barcelona

Brazilian Midfielder Philip Coutinho is going to join Bayern Munich on loan deal for the next season

2019-20. Barcelona FC has been on transfer talk for the Brazilian Midfielder with big clubs and finally the deal was done with German giants. Bayern Munich can also buy Coutinho if he settles in.

Since two main midfielder (Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery) of Bayern Munich left the club so the club desperately wanted to purchase the world class midfielder. In this situation Philippe Coutinho was the best available choice for Bayern and they successfully made the deal.

According to the Barcelona Coach Ernesto Valverde, Philippe Coutinho wanted to leave the club in May this year. Coutinho will be replacing James Rodriguez, who was also on a two years loan deal at Bayern with Real Madrid. In 2018, Barcelona bought the Brazilian midfielder for € 160 million from Liverpool FC which made Coutinho world’s second most expensive player.

There were also rumors that Barcelona is offering Coutinho and Ivan Rakitich to PSG for a swap deal for Neymar but PSG was not interesting in the swap deal only and was demanding 100 million dollars plus two midfielders as well. That swap deal ended in a dead lock but Barcelona is still in talks with PSG for Neymar transfer. Recently Real Madrid also showed interest to buy Neymar and Zidan is also in the list of Neymar’s buyers.

Bayern’s boss is very optimistic for the Coutinho’s arrival at Bayern.Niko Kovac said “ Bayern’s fans

should be happy that player like Coutinho is joining the Bundesliga and we are happy to welcome the Top class player like Coutinho in the Bundesliga”.

Bayern striker Lewandowski is also hopeful for the ex-Barcelona midfielder future in Germany. He mentioned him in an interview after the opening match of Bundesliga. He said " i think he (Coutinho) will settle in without any problem. He will not take much time to adopt to out system".

After the retirement of Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery, Bayern Munich was in desperate need of a world class midfielder like Coutinho. It will be challenging for the Brazilian star to fill the place of football legends like Robben and Ribery in the midfield.

Transfer window for Bundesliga is going to close in September and Bayern is in need to sign another midfielder. On the other side after Coutinho's departure, Barcelona will be focusing on Neymar's return. If Neymar returns to Barcelona then it will be great for the Spanish giant because the trio of Messi, Grizemann and Neymar will be a guarantee for the success in the current season.
