Wayne Rooney is coming back to England as Player-Coach Role

Wayne Rooney is a football legend and spent many successful seasons in Manchester United and Everton. He is the highest goal scorer of  England. He scored 53 goals in 120 International matches, 120 caps make him the second highest cap holder for England after Peter Shelton. Rooney is also highest goal scorer of Manchester United, he scored 253 goals in 559 matches. These figures make him the best choice as a player for any top level club.

The age is something which affect the demand of football player. Rooney is 33 years old now and he believes that he is still fit to play club football but meanwhile he is also involved in talks about a coaching role with Derby County which is a Championship side. This is a big news for the Rams because they need the experience of big star like Wayne Rooney to get back the club to the Premier League.

The legend will join Derby County in January next year. The Rams also confirmed the deal with Rooney and announced that Rooney have an initial contract of 1.5 years with The Rams. and will remain with DC United until the end of MLS season this year and will join the English side in January.
