Man Utd surprised by Crystal Palace Roshford's penalty miss cost the match

Missed Penalty from Rashford , Mistake by de Gae in the stoppage time, these mistakes proved costly for the Manchester United. Crystal Palace surprised Red Devils with 2 : 1 goals win at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace looked very composed and energetic in the first half of the match. During 30th minute of the first half, Daniel James got injured and just 3 minute late Crystal Palace netted their first goal. 

Jordan Ayew scored for the Eagles. He opened up in the top D area and scored an easy goal with his right foot and there was no chance for de Gae to response. Early goal by Crystal Palace increased the confidence of Eagles. 

First half ended in the lead of Crystal Palace by 1 : 0 goal. Red Devils got an easy chance to score when Scott McTominay snatched a penalty during 69th minute of the second half. Pogba missed a penalty in the last match against Wolves because of that Rashford was given a chance to score the penalty but he missed it to. So Red Devils let down an easy chance to score the equalizer.

The equalizer goal from Manchester United was scored during 89th minute when Daniel James scored a superb goal. It was a classic assist from Anthony Martial and no.21 received the ball in the penalty area and with the first touch, he bent the ball to the top right corner. It was a great finish from the midfielder.

It looked like clash between the Red Devils and the Eagles will be ended in a draw but during stoppage time, Patrick van Aanholt’s strike and de Gaes’s mistake made the score 2 : 1 and Crystal Palace recorded their first ever victory against Manchester United at the Old Trafford.
