Aguero reached his 400th career goal Manchester City vs Bournemouth

Man City’s main striker Sergio Aguero reached 400 goals for club and international matches. Aguero scored twice in his last match against Bournemouth and reached 400 career goals on Sunday 25th of August.

Argentinean striker is in full form this season. He has scored 4 goals in 3 matches so far in Premier League. Sergio Aguero is the only player of Manchester City in last 7 years who has scored in all three starting matches of Premier League. 

Aguero looks in blistering form this season which is promising news for the Blues. The 31 year old started his senior career in 2003 with an Argentinean club named Independiente. He scored 23 goals for Independiente in 53 matches. The young emerging striker grabbed the attention of Spanish side and Atletico Madrid signed him for a transfer fee of 23 million dollar in 2006.

Aguero scored 101 goals in 234 appearances for Atletico Madrid. He helped Atletico Madrid to win UEFA Europa League title in 2009–10 and UEFA Super Cup in 2010. In 2011, Argentinean accepted the offer from Manchester City and in the same season he helped City to win Premier League title after 41 years.

Aguero has scored 236 goals in 342 matches so far. He has also won four Premier League titles (2011–12, 2013–14, 2017–18, 2018–19), four EFL Cup (2013–14, 2015-16,  2017–18, 2018–19) and three FA Community Shield (2012, 2018, 2019) with Man City. He was awarded Manchester City Player of the year award twice in 2011-12 and 2014-15.

Aguero scored 41 goals in 97 caps for his national team. 2015 was outstanding year for his international career when he scored 10 goals in 10 matches including a Hat-trick against Bolivia.

400th goal of Aguero came during 64th minute of the league match verses Bournemouth. David Silva did an amazing assist and Sergio Ramos gets an easy chance to score and he didn’t miss the chance to complete his 4th century of goals. 

Argentinean striker is 31 years old now and he still has 4 to 5 years left of his career He is a world class striker and without any doubt he will surly explore and achieve more goals in these years.
