After the departure of Arsene Wenger form the club, Arsenal is lacking a tactical and reliable manager in the club. The Frenchman stabilized the struggling club and appended it to top four best clubs of Premier league.
Manchester United is suffering from the same situation. The Red devils are desperately missing the legendary sir Alex Ferguson. They are currently at number seven in the Premier League table. Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho could not restore the glory of the club and had to leave the club.
It is quite obvious that both clubs are struggling in the absence of their legends managers. Let’s talk about Arsenal; the Gunners are at 6th position in the league table. They could not grab a win in their last four matches. Although sixth position is not a bad performance at this stage of the season but if the club wants to restore their glory then they need to make extraordinary reforms in the club.
Emery’s future in club is clearly uncertain with this kind of performance. The Gunners could only win 4 of their 12 league matches. With -7 goal difference it will be difficult for the Arsenal to progress in the table position.
According to a recent report from The Sun, Emery can be sacked in the near future from the managerial position due to uncertain club performance in the season and two possible Emery’s replacements are also mentioned in the report.
In this article, we take a look on these two possible replacements of Gunner’s current boss. According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta is linked with this replacement and he is the most favorite choice for the managerial position.
Ex – Arsenal’s captain Arteta is currently appointed as the assistant manager in Manchester City and working under the most successful manager of the decade Pep Guardiola. He has spent 6 years in Arsenal and won one FA Cup and FA Community Shield in 2014. He has been a successful captain in Arsenal.
He also has two years of experience as assistant manager of Manchester City. Arteta also has the experience of playing under Wenger’s management and he is well familiar with traditional game of Arsenal. He would certainly be a best choice to replace Emery.

Steven Gerrard is another suitable option for The Gunners. He has plenty of experience of English football. He has played 710 matches for Liverpool and won two FA Cups (2001 and 2006), three Football league cups (2001, 2003 and 2012), one UEFA Champions league in 2005 and one FA Community Shield in 2006. With this level of experience Steven Gerrard is an attractive option for the Gunners.
He is currently serving as a manager of Rangers and under his supervision, Rangers has won 53 matches, draw 22 matches and lost only 12 matches in last two league seasons. Rangers could not win the league title under his management but with 60 percent of win rate, he is a good option for the North-London side.
