Great news for football fans worldwide. UEFA Champions league 2019/20 draws are happening tonight. Four pots are ready for the draw. Each pot contains eight teams of equal rating. The ceremony will be streamed live on UEFA.com.
In UCL 2019/20, 32 team will contest in the group stage and 5 teams are from La Liga (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Valencia), 5 teams are from Premier League (Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur), 5 teams have been qualified from Serie A (Juventus, Napoli, Internazionale Milano, Atalanta), five are from Bundeshliga (Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig), three teams have been qualified from League 1 (Paris, Lyon, LOSC Lille), Two team form Russian League (Zenit, Lokomotiv Moskva), two teams are from Belgium ( Club Brugge, Genk) and rest of the leagues have only one representation in UCL. 26 teams are selected directly for the group stage and six teams are the winner of the play-off matches.

The teams have been divided in to four pots. Pot 1 has the Champions of 6 different major leagues. Teams in Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4 have been qualified on the basis of club’s coefficient which is calculated by the sum of points won by the club over last five years. Apart from UCL draws, UEFA awards will also be presented tonight. Best players of six different categories will be awarded in the ceremony. These categories include UEFA Men's Player of the Year, UEFA Women's Player of the Year, Best Goalkeeper of the 2018/19 UEFA, Best Defender of the 2018/19, Best Midfielder of the 2018/19 , Best Forward of the 2018/19. Lionel Messi is favorite for the UEFA Men’s Player of the year award this year.
