FIFPro has recently shortlisted the top 55 players who are nominated for the FIFA FIFPro world 11 2019. The list includes names of all the big stars from different major football leagues.
The shortlisted players were selected by the voting process in which 23000 professional football players from all around the world, have voted for four categories including one goal keeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.
The voting process took almost one month and after completing the initial voting process, list of names of nominated players have been displayed on the official website.
21 of the 55 players are nominated from Premier league clubs. So, we can say that Premier league clubs are leading the list of FIFPro world 11. 20 players from Spanish clubs are selected in the list.
Seven players are nominated from the Liverpool FC which is Eleven players are selected from Spanish club Barcelona FC. Real Madrid has 9 players in the list.
17 players are nominated for the first time for FIFPro world 11 including, Bernardo Silva, Eriksen, Tadic, Ederson, Alex Sandro, Arthur, Alexander Arnold, Robertson, De Jong, Son, Cancelo, Sterling, Koulibaly, De Ligt, Firmino and Alisson.
If we look Country wise than, Brazil is leading the list with 10 players nominated, France has seven players and 6 players from Spain are nominated.
Cristiano Ronaldo is also in the list and he is the only player who is nominated in all 15 edition of FIFPro world 11.
Buffon and Iniesta could not make it in the list of 55 players for the FIFPro world 11 for the first time after 12 years of consecutive nominations.
